Under the joint aegis of Hope Foundation and Nainital Hills Tracking and World Watching Sanstha, the work of cleaning and maintenance of old streams and drains of remote development block Dhari of Nainital district is being started.

Dr. Asit Khanna, President of Hope Foundation, said that, in Nainital district, Hope Foundation and Nainital Hills Tracking and World Watching Sanstha together are starting a campaign for the next three months with the aim of conserving the water of old drains and drains. The cooperation of local youth and school students is being taken in this campaign by Pankaj Kumar, President of Nainital Hills Tracking and World Watching Sanstha and teacher social worker Gauri Shankar Kandpal. This program was started from Sarna area of ​​​​development block Dhari from 17 November 2024. During the program, the message of keeping the streams and drains clean was given to the local villagers through poster messages. HOPE Foundation has got permission for HOPE Camp 2021 to be held on 10th, 11th and 12th December.

A program with one seperate women's organisation will work to eradicate plastic and the other one will work for drain(Naula) cleaning/construction. A formal application from Janmaitri to Inter-College has been given yesterday.

Approx. 110 T-shirts handed over to Janmaitri Sangathan to carry on their good work on water conservation, river regeneration and traditional farming.

HOPE Foundation undertakes biweekly pr monthly waste collection drives in and around Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad. The pickup truck and volunteers are funded by HOPE. The collected waste goes for segregation and recycling into useful products.

The HOPE Foundation has taken an initiative to build benches from #recycled plastic that the foundation collects during its #cleanliness drives in order to save the planet.

They are great for #gifting in #birthdays and honouring people and can be placed in #gardens and #parks. Prices will be between Rs. 2500 to Rs. 3000. (Inscribed plate can also be ordered). for placing of the benches, we can place them in the tourist area of #Nainital district. The proceeds will go towards the working of the HOPE Foundation. These benches are made in Delhi. Benches have been sent to Sattal, Naukuchiatal, Jungaliyagaon etc.

The HOPE Foundation is an initiative to promote recycling and proper waste disposal throughout the city of Ghaziabad. On 27th June Sunday, the foundation conducted a plastic collection drive in the Ramprastha Green and Shastri Nagar - Ghaziabad ; the collected plastic and books was contributed towards recycling. The foundation plans on conducting plenty of these drives in the future in an effort to be more sustainable.

HOPE Foundation getting more water tanks dug in Ramgarh area of district Nainital.

Another lot of masks and sterilium goes to Bhimtal and had been distributed there by HOPE volunteers. The same has been published in various newspapers.

Cheque of Rs. 15000 given to Ms. Himani Palariya whose education has stopped due to nonpayment of fees. Father had no income during lockdown. Family belongs to Bhimtal. Money collected by HOPE volunteers!!

Last remaining laptop from last year donated to two brothers in poor family in Khoda, Noida(couldn't do their online classes due to lack of a computer).

300 masks, 38 bottles sterlizer sent to a remote dispensary in district Pithoragarh on receiving an SOS. There no govt. supply has reached till now. Another supplies packet of 10 bottles handrub, 100 masks sent to another NGO. One such packet has been sent to Bhimtal. HOPE will keep sending these supplies to such remote areas where the govt. had not provided anything, to prevent spread of covid to these remote villages.

HOPE NGO ordered and bought 100 tshirts for the volunteers of HOPE Foundation and partner Janmaitri Sangathan(in Ramgarh, Nainital) to continue our nature conservation work this year.

Today the Hope Foundation has ordered 2 plastic sheets again so that the farmers who had left the gardening partner to build their tank can be made available to those who have the tanks now they will be in use and for those who had no water storage medium.

Despite lockdown our water conservation activities, women and children awareness and mobilization activities have continued in Ramgarh, Nainital areas.

HOPE Foundation next project is to assisting artisans of Uttrakhand to promote and helping them in marketing and selling their handicrafts. 100% sale proceeds going to artisans.

A team of HOPE Foundation and Janmatri and the villagers Sufi Deotanda are launching a cleaniness drive in the fruit belt with pastic waste eradication shramdaan.

During this time, plastic will be removed from the water resource, school and houses and will be buried in pits. Sushila Didi, the convenor of the Mahila Sangathan Devtanda, will start it. We will all be presenting the waste management campaign from this holi. Because the pastic waste from the road to water sources has started polluting the air soil, there is increaing fear of epidemic in the world. Also plastic waste is encouraging all the diseases. During this holi, our family members and people of the fruit belt voluntariy clean their surroundings and give the big message, requesting such a prayer.

Places where clean-up activities are being carried out are Devtanda Soupy in Ghadre of Sufi Rivad carried out a cleaniness drive up to Patiyagad of Lod. After this the campaign was also carried out in Lod, Galla, Pata Satga and Talla UP.

HOPE Foundation annual camp - Village Banna: 7th & 8th December

This year we are organising our annual camp on 7th & 8th December. The location of camp is village Banna. It is not Naukuchiatal this year. Banna is 30-40 mins away from Naukuchiatal and en-route to Chhota Kailash(parvati kund). Hospital building where we will have medical section, doctors OPD and pharmacy. 5 schools will be benefitted this year ther are Primary School Pinro, Primary School Banna Dhura, Primary School Pinsela, Junior High School Devsthal, Government High School Salura, Government Inter College Banna.

This year we are planning 12 doctors, 25 volunteers,approx. 2000 patients, free medicines, free basic blood tests and ECG, 500 blankets(and clothes), 300 spectacles, health lectures, police assistance camp, farmers assistance camp, school competitions and prizes, scholarships, tree plantation and regeneration of a local lake(parvati kind)

Clean and Green Vaishali!! - Tree Plantation Event - Vaishali!

HOPE Foundation and federation of RWAs of Ramprastha Greens made history by planting 600 trees in 3 hours from Vaishali to Vasundhara along Hindon Canal. 3 schools, 3 colleges, 9 teachers and around 55 children has participated in this event. Participated schools are Maharaja Agrasen Public School-Vasundhara, Children's Academy - Pratap Vihar & Cambridge School - Indirapuram. Participated colleges are Indraprastha Engineering College - Ghaziabad, AKG College - Ghaziabad & Delhi University. Some of the important points of this event are like: innovations like mechanized holes digging, use of compost produced in compost units installed by our RWAs(along with kenchua khad). Innovative and cheap plant protectors made from bamboo sicks and jute strings.

HOPE Foundation has co-hosted a Holi Milan in Bhimtal where several NGOs, volunteers, farmer organizations, village level entrepreneurs had met. Had discussed water conservation, forest regeneration, reverse migration, innovative farming techniques, preserving traditional culture etc.
